A 24-year-old man with metastatic testicular germ cell tumor presents to the oncology clinic 5 days after his second cycle of combination chemotherapy that includes cisplatin. He reports fatigue, transient diarrhea, and painful leg cramps. He denies vomiting. He has no history of kidney disease and is not taking other medications.
