A 62-year-old postmenopausal woman has 8 months of progressive lower abdominal pain, early satiety, constipation, and unintentional weight loss. Examination shows abdominal distension with shifting dullness and a firm, irregular, fixed pelvic mass. Transvaginal ultrasound shows a multilocular complex ovarian mass with solid components and ascites. CT suggests peritoneal spread consistent with advanced epithelial ovarian malignancy. She has good performance status and is medically fit for major surgery and systemic therapy. What is the most appropriate overall management strategy?
