A 28-year-old primigravida at 28 weeks’ gestation reports mild shortness of breath only with exertion for 2 weeks. She denies chest pain, cough, wheeze, fever, hemoptysis, orthopnea, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, syncope, leg swelling, or calf pain. She has no past medical history and takes prenatal vitamins only. Examination shows no respiratory distress, clear lungs, normal heart sounds, no murmur, and no peripheral edema or calf tenderness. Fetal movements are normal. What is the most appropriate management?
