A 28-year-old man is brought to the emergency department after a high-speed motor vehicle collision. He is pale, diaphoretic, and has severe pelvic pain. EMS placed two large-bore IV lines and gave 2 L of crystalloid with minimal response. Examination shows an unstable pelvis with perineal ecchymosis and no obvious external bleeding. FAST shows no free intraperitoneal fluid. Pelvic X-ray shows an anteroposterior compression pelvic ring fracture. What is the most appropriate next step in management?
