A 29-year-old G4P2 woman at 12 weeks’ gestation attends antenatal care. Pregnancy 1 ended in spontaneous miscarriage at 10 weeks. Pregnancy 2 was a term vaginal delivery. Pregnancy 3 was complicated by preterm premature rupture of membranes at 28 weeks with preterm delivery and neonatal intensive care admission. She has no history of painless cervical dilatation or mid-trimester pregnancy loss. She is asymptomatic. Transvaginal ultrasound shows a closed cervix with cervical length 3.5 cm and no funneling. What is the most appropriate management plan for this pregnancy?
