A 28-year-old G2P0 woman underwent laparoscopic linear salpingostomy for a tubal ectopic pregnancy 4 weeks ago. She was advised to have weekly serum beta-hCG until undetectable. Her beta-hCG fell initially but has remained at a similar level for the last 2 measurements. She has mild intermittent pelvic discomfort without heavy vaginal bleeding, syncope, or shoulder pain. Abdominal and bimanual examination show no guarding, rebound tenderness, or palpable adnexal mass. What is the most appropriate next step in management?
