A 5-month-old boy has 3 days of cough and sneezing with episodic circumoral cyanosis, worse with crying, and recurrent frothy sputum. He is feeding less. Examination shows diffuse rhonchi with fine basal crackles and good bilateral air entry. Cardiac examination shows no murmur. Chest radiograph shows bilateral patchy infiltrates without cardiomegaly or pleural effusion. What is the most likely diagnosis?
